Facade design
The resort house takes an almost Wright-ian aesthetic with a multitude of shingled roofs, board and batten walls, and generous glazing. The front roof canopy juts out the house shading the double copper doors with its haptic door rails. The whole house is in a dark, almost red wood, that sits over an aggregate washed concrete base. The house evokes a regional modernism with its minimal but undoubtedly expressive tectonics.
A garage in the same style is tucked discreetly behind the main house. A large pool area sits directly behind the areas,
